Initially wrote this poem for a competition and not for posting it over here, but then, why not?
The Story Untold
To seek a future so bright,
we must embrace the path of light
A world where the nature's beauty persists,
greener and cleaner, where sustainability exists
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle with care,
let our voice echo everywhere
Afforestation, bringing back the trees once lost,
reviving eco-systems, habitats and ocean waters, no matter the cost
Conserving water, our precious resource,
we'll redeem with unity's force
Public Campaigns to ignite a change,
education and awareness, paves a way
As the old age saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words"
let's not be hesitant in making efforts
For if you want to survive
and want the nature to still thrive,
you'll have to make a stand,
to paint the future as grand!
In the quest to save the world,
rests the aspiration and hopes of many
Green strategies that emerge, a brighter future it upholds,
through deeds, and not words, we'll work for a bluer planet
the story, now told!
