A Poet's Grave
Hey there! I am back with yet another poem, titled as 'A Poet's Grave'. It's a poetry written solely for all the fellow poets out there, including me, and I've tried to relate the impact of their poems with certain things that you shall read in the poem itself. No spoilers, haha! Thank you!
A Poet's Grave
There's a mystery untold
from blushing skies to skies of amber-gold;
to cloudy despairs in drizzling tears
growing partially awoken fears
Descending raindrops from the heavens
into the elegant wildfire
with a desire, that's ever present
yet never slaked
Words from the depths of a poet's heart,
drowning me in its deepest desires
Within the sapphire lengths of mermaids and titanics
my heart sought for your word,
like a drop of honey in the ocean of salt
my soul fell for each stanza,
like the cascading waves in the storm, right near the shore
Enchanting each morsel at my core
only to disappear with the wind's farewell
my reminder, of the dreadful fate,
of a poet's grave
