Add- ons’ to Style your Home
Some people do not prefer to have their homes styled like lavish hotel rooms, rather a touch of home is required so badly to them. Well none of us would want to return home fretting over the bad work day or on that stupid car driver who almost tried to bump into your car! Coming back home should actually mean home!
I have a much personalised thought of having a particular kind of home which doesn’t seem like you are living in a 5-star luxury hotel.
That’s why to keep it homey, some colours are very important to be mixed to it. From colours I mean some charms that would give the house more attractive and comfortable look.
Home is meant to be a place where there is nothing for you to make your blood run cold! So if you are planning to move into your new dream home or re-decorate your old comfy house here are some very important ‘add-ons’ you can apply to your homes to soothing mind and soul!
Hanging a wind chime
Wind chimes attracts positive energy and subdue bad luck. When the warm or cold breeze of air tinkles the chimes, the sound that is generated facilitates the radiations to linger on and engage in, thereby creating a space of richness at your home!
From my personal experience I can say that the joy of hearing the chimes jingle is immeasurable and someone like me should definitely try this!
A half-filled bowl with water and floating white flower’s petals
A white flower induces calmness and peace, while it being kept floating on water adds to calmness with coolness. When I had started with doing this I had used a big bowl of glass, with a glass turtle too, dipped in it! And you know what! It really worked for me! Looking at it every time I passed from there literally made my heart happy as Larry, and that’s what the purpose of keeping such features at home is!

Keeping small and hanging pots of plants
While plants and their greenery matters a lot outside, it also does in your living room or your balcony. Hanging pots of plants in balcony and flower pots on our staircase also supports us form a daily routine to water them.
Surprisingly I had slowly developed a relationship with them and started talking to them too, and when one of my plants withered away I actually felt so bad like losing my own child!
While all of this not only enhanced the beauty of my home where you could get an awesome set of pictures clicked but also it would attract all the small, beautiful birds chirping early in the morning.

The light-bright curtains
Light bright curtains are in vogue. If you are not allergic to sunlight anyhow, then letting the pores of your skin absorb in the sunlight is wonderful.
Also a home filled with sunlight proves to be a stress buster and provides a healthy mood therapy.
Keeping an incense stick/ fragrant material
Any incense stick or fragrant material at home will cause the bubbles of pleasure to flow through your body without much trying.
They are the mood up lifters and some good fragrance also is linked to some of our past good memories.
Fairy lights or candles in the hazy evenings
Fairy lights, candles and lamps have been trending of late. The evenings when you just want to play a light music, read novels, play guitar or if you are a singer (or a bathroom singer like me), you would not want to spoil the mood by setting up the sharp bright lights straight away!
The best way to enjoy your evening tea is to sit in the dim lights of the candles and fairy lights in your living room or bed rooms, with a composed and happy soul. I think trying this for once would really convince you! Best suited for those rooms where sunlight has hardly any reach.
